Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, add the entire 16-ounce container of sour cream.
Sprinkle in the ranch dressing mix. Stir until the ranch powder is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
Add the cooked bacon bits and shredded cheddar cheese.
Using a spatula or large spoon, mix everything together until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (if you have the time; it’s delicious straight away too!).
Serve cold alongside chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
Notes
For best flavor, use freshly shredded cheddar cheese. Customize with add-ins like green onions or jalapeños.
