  • 1 tablespoon Honey or brown sugar
  • 6 cups Mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or romaine)
  • 1/2 cup Crumbled blue cheese

Instructions

  • Slice the pears into thin wedges.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbling.
  • Add the pear slices and cook for 3-5 minutes until softened and slightly golden.
  • Drizzle honey or sprinkle brown sugar over the pears, stirring gently to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
  • In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens.
  • Top the greens with the caramelized pears and crumbled blue cheese.
  • Gently toss everything together and serve immediately.

Notes

For a milder taste, substitute blue cheese with goat cheese or feta. If you want extra crunch, add candied walnuts or pecans.
