Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken tenders
  • 6 strips Bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.
  • Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  • Cut bacon strips into pieces long enough to wrap around each chicken tender. Tightly wrap each tender with bacon.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and olive oil until well combined.
  • Arrange the bacon-wrapped chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops generously with the brown sugar glaze.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C). If you like extra caramelization, broil on high for the last 2-3 minutes—just keep a close eye so nothing burns!
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the sticky, smoky marvel you’ve just created!

Notes

These chicken tenders pair perfectly with fluffy mashed potatoes or creamy macaroni and cheese for a comforting meal.
