Instructions
Brew and chill your coffee. For best flavor, brew coffee at double strength (use twice the usual coffee grounds) so the flavor stays bold after ice dilutes it. Let it cool in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or use leftover cold coffee.
Add ingredients to the blender. Add 4 cups of ice first, then pour in the 2 cups of chilled strong coffee, 2 cups of whole milk, 1/3 cup caramel syrup, and 1 teaspoon granulated sugar. Adding ice first helps the blender chop evenly.
Blend until smooth. Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds, or until the ice is finely crushed and the mixture is smooth and thick. If it’s too thin, add more ice and blend again for a few seconds.
Serve and garnish. Pour into tall glasses, top generously with whipped cream, and drizzle extra caramel syrup over the top. Add a straw and enjoy your homemade Caramel Frappuccino!
Notes
For a thicker Frappuccino, add more ice or a tablespoon of instant vanilla pudding mix for extra thickness and creaminess without changing the flavor too much.
