2canspre-made cinnamon rollsor equivalent homemade dough, unrolled or prepared according to package instructions
4largeGranny Smith or Honeycrisp applespeeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1cupcaramel saucehomemade or store-bought, room temperature
1cupbrown sugarpacked

2teaspoonscinnamon

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
Prepare the cinnamon rolls according to package instructions or make from scratch. If using canned rolls, press each roll gently to flatten slightly.
Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss them in a large bowl with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter until evenly coated. Stir in vanilla extract.
Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Layer the prepared cinnamon rolls over the caramel sauce in a single even layer.
Add a layer of the apple mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls, spreading the apples out evenly.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a drizzle of caramel sauce on top.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for contrast. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
