Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Lasagna

Ingredients

Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 cans pre-made cinnamon rolls or homemade dough

Apples

  • 4 large Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples peeled and thinly sliced

Caramel Sauce

  • 1 cup caramel sauce homemade or store-bought

Brown Sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar

Butter

  • 1/2 cup butter melted

Cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Vanilla Extract

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the cinnamon rolls according to package instructions or make from scratch.
  • Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss them with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter.
  • Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Layer the prepared cinnamon rolls over the caramel sauce.
  • Add a layer of the apple mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a drizzle of caramel sauce on top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
  • Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
