Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the cinnamon rolls according to package instructions or make from scratch.
Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Toss them with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter.
Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
Layer the prepared cinnamon rolls over the caramel sauce.
Add a layer of the apple mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a drizzle of caramel sauce on top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
