Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for perfect baking.
Gently clean the portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt and remove the stems.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper.
Place the cleaned portobello caps on a baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter generously over each mushroom.
Place a slice of fresh mozzarella in each portobello cap and sprinkle fresh basil on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra touch of flavor.
Allow to cool slightly before serving, and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh mozzarella and basil for the best flavor. A drizzle of balsamic glaze adds sweetness and depth.
