  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 head Cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until translucent.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, cooking until slightly tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, swap ground beef for ground turkey. Add bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
