Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until translucent.
Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the chopped cabbage, cooking until slightly tender, about 5 minutes.
Pour in the diced tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, swap ground beef for ground turkey. Add bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
