  • 1 cup Butterscotch Chips
  • 0.75 cup Toffee Bits

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl. Whisk until everything is fully combined and the mixture is creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir gently with a spatula until you have a soft, cohesive dough—avoid overmixing for the best texture.
  • Fold in the butterscotch chips and toffee bits, making sure they’re evenly spread throughout the dough.
  • Spread the dough evenly into your prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to smooth the top for an even finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes. The bars should be golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing. This helps them set and makes cutting easier.

Notes

For a gourmet touch, add a pinch of flaky sea salt on top before baking.
