  • 1 box Brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the box)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Whipped topping (Cool Whip) thawed, divided
  • 2 boxes Chocolate instant pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
  • 3 cups Cold milk
  • to taste Chocolate shavings or curls for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the brownie mix box. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions and bake. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
  • Fold in half of the whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  • In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  • Top with the remaining whipped topping, smoothing it out evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  • Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or curls. Slice and enjoy chilled!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month and thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
