Equipment

  • Baking Dish
  • Small saucepan

Ingredients

Beef Chops

  • 4 pieces thick-cut beef chops about 1 inch thick

Glaze Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to fit the chops in a single layer.
  • Pat the beef chops dry with paper towels and place them in the baking dish.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth and bubbling.
  • Pour the brown sugar glaze evenly over the beef chops, ensuring each chop is coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chops are cooked through and the glaze is bubbly and golden. For extra caramelization, place under the broiler for 2 minutes at the end.
  • Let the beef chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon extra sauce from the baking dish over the top for maximum flavor.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, or a simple salad. For extra indulgence, pair with mac and cheese.
