  • 1.5 lbs Ground Beef
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix Prepared according to package instructions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined, but don’t overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  • Once done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  • While your meatloaf is baking, prepare the brown gravy according to the package instructions.
  • Serve the meatloaf topped with the brown gravy.

Notes

Make sure not to overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatloaf tender. You can add herbs like parsley or thyme for extra flavor, or some hot sauce or diced jalapeños for a kick.
