Instructions
Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and toss with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté onion for 2 minutes. Add garlic and mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are soft.
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and water. Stir to combine.
Return the chicken to the pan and stir. Cook for 2–3 more minutes until heated through and well coated.
