Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a medium skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, thawed hashbrowns, and biscuit pieces.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, flour, salt, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
Pour the milk mixture over the sausage and hashbrown mixture, stirring gently to combine.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Let cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, use turkey sausage and reduced-fat cheese. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra flavor.
