  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 pound Beef breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly, then press them into the bottom of a greased pizza pan, covering the entire surface.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until fully browned. Use a spatula to break it into smaller pieces as it cooks.
  • Once the sausage is cooked, sprinkle the flour over it and stir for about a minute until well combined. Gradually whisk in the milk, and continue stirring until the mixture thickens to a gravy-like consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the sausage gravy over the prepared biscuit crust, spreading it evenly. If you'd like, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top for extra indulgence.
  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Once out of the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes. Top with chopped green onions for a fresh finish before slicing and serving!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
