Instructions
Marinate chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
Mix flour, salt, and pepper in one bowl. In another bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
Dredge each piece of chicken first in the flour mixture, then dip it back into the buttermilk, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
