0.5cupButter
3cupsPowdered Sugar
1.5teaspoonsVanilla Extract
3tablespoonsMilk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 13×9-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and sour cream together until light and creamy.
Add the eggs and mashed bananas to the mixture. Stir in vanilla extract. Mix until combined but do not overbeat.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just incorporated.
Fold in the chopped walnuts for some delightful crunch and extra flavor.
Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the edges are slightly golden.
While brownies cool, prepare the frosting: In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth and spreadable.
Spread frosting evenly over slightly warm brownies. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
