Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Skillet
  • Baking Dish

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz spaghetti

Meat

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

Dairy

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Sauce

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Seasoning

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • While your pasta is cooking, heat a splash of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and no longer pink, then stir in the marinara sauce.
  • Add the cream cheese to the beef mixture, allowing it to melt and blend in while stirring.
  • Once the cream cheese is fully incorporated, mix in the cooked spaghetti, ensuring every strand is coated in that luscious sauce.
  • Transfer everything into a greased baking dish and top with grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for about 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Serve hot, and enjoy the creamy goodness!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. You can also go vegetarian by omitting meat and adding veggies like bell peppers or zucchini.
