Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish (about 8×8-inch or a 1.5-quart casserole) with butter or nonstick spray.
In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of your prepared dish.
Spoon the caramel apple pie filling gently on top of the cream cheese layer, creating an even layer from edge to edge.
In a separate small bowl, combine flour, melted butter, and brown sugar. Mix with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the apple filling.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the topping begins to turn golden brown and everything is bubbling at the edges.
Cool for 5 minutes, then swirl with caramel sundae topping to finish.
Serve warm with vanilla wafers, crackers, or pretzels on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, use apple pie filling with cinnamon or add a whisper of extra ground cinnamon to the cream cheese layer.
