Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking.
  • Grease your baking mold with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Peel and slice your apples into thin wedges or bite-sized pieces to ensure they bake evenly.
  • In a mixing bowl, crack four eggs and whisk until bubbly and frothy for a light texture.
  • Add the cocoa powder and baking powder to the eggs and mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold the sliced apples into the cocoa-egg mixture, coating all pieces evenly.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking mold, spreading it evenly. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until set.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave a slice for about 20 seconds or warm it in the oven on low heat.
