Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Small Pan

Ingredients

Potatoes

  • 3 large Potatoes, cubed Washed and cut into small 1/2-inch cubes

Steak

  • 2 10 oz Strip steaks, cut into cubes Trimmed of excess fat
  • 4 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Minced garlic Fresh preferred
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley Plus more for garnish, if desired
  • to taste Steak seasoning For example, Kinder’s Prime Steak Seasoning
  • 1-2 tbsp Olive oil For tossing
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder For potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika For potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Dried parsley For potatoes

Instructions

  • Wash and cut potatoes into small cubes. Pat dry with a towel so they crisp up better.
  • In a bowl, toss the potato cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried parsley until evenly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer if possible, and cook at 400°F for about 20 minutes, shaking the basket a couple of times while cooking to ensure even browning.
  • Meanwhile, cut the steak into 1-inch cubes and pat dry. This helps get a better sear.
  • Coat the steak bites lightly in olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and steak seasoning. Don’t over-season — the garlic butter will add more flavor.
  • Once the potatoes are cooked and golden, remove them and set aside in a warm dish.
  • Place the steak bites in the preheated air fryer basket (do not overcrowd; cook in batches if needed) and cook at 400°F for about 7 minutes for medium doneness, shaking or stirring once halfway through.
  • While the steak cooks, melt the butter in a small pan or microwave-safe bowl, then stir in the minced garlic and 1 tsp dried parsley. Let it sit for a minute so the garlic infuses.
  • When the steak bites are done, transfer them to the potatoes and immediately pour the garlic butter over everything. Toss gently to coat.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Keep garlic butter separate if you prefer to reheat without sogginess.
