Ingredients
Tortillas
2piecesFlour tortillas (8-10 inches)
Butter
2tablespoonsSoftened butter
Cheese
1cupShredded mozzarella cheese
Seasonings
to tasteGarlic powder
to tasteItalian seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (177°C).
Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spread softened butter evenly over one side of each tortilla, covering right up to the edges.
Sprinkle garlic powder generously over the buttered side, followed by Italian seasoning for a burst of herbal flavor.
Scatter shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over one of the tortillas (on the buttered side).
Carefully place the second tortilla on top, buttered side up, to make a sandwich.
Place the tortilla sandwich in the air fryer basket. You may need to press it gently to fit, depending on your air fryer’s size.
Air fry for 4-5 minutes, checking at the 4-minute mark. The cheese should be melted and the tortilla golden and crisp.
Remove carefully, let it cool for 1-2 minutes, then slice into wedges using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
Serve warm and enjoy that stringy cheese pull goodness!
Notes
For extra flavor, mix minced fresh garlic into the softened butter before spreading. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
