Instructions
Prepare your workspace: place the wonton wrappers, apple pie filling, a small bowl of water, and a clean plate within easy reach.
Open the can of apple pie filling. If the apple pieces are very large, chop them into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
Take one wonton wrapper and lay it flat. Place about a teaspoon of apple pie filling in the center.
Lightly moisten the edges of the wrapper with water using your finger. Fold the wrapper into a triangle or rectangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal.
Lightly spray both sides of each filled wonton with spray oil.
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 4–6 minutes, turning halfway through, until both sides are golden brown and crisp.
While still warm, quickly roll or sprinkle each wonton in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place on a serving plate, drizzle generously with caramel sauce, and finish with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Serve immediately and enjoy every gooey, crunchy bite!
Notes
For the crispiest wontons, don’t overfill. If you’re out of apple pie filling, try canned cherry or peach filling. Keep an eye on the air fryer, as cooking times may vary.
