  • 1.5 pounds Ground Beef Can use up to 2 pounds.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Cream of Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 3 cups Cubed Frozen Potatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Divided into two 1/2 cup portions.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, both soups, frozen potatoes, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour into the prepared casserole dish and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. Cover with foil.
  • Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Customize this casserole with added veggies like peas or bell peppers, or swap in different soup flavors for variety.
