  • 1 can (16 oz.) Lemon pie filling
  • 1 package (15 oz.) Yellow cake mix
  • 4 oz. Cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the lemon pie filling evenly over the bottom of your prepared dish.
  • Evenly scatter the cubed cream cheese over the lemon pie filling for pockets of creamy bliss in every bite.
  • Sprinkle the yellow cake mix directly (and evenly) over the lemon and cream cheese layers—no need to mix!
  • Arrange the thinly sliced butter atop the cake mix, trying to cover as much of the surface as possible.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling along the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
