Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet)
  • 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Optional toppings (chopped nuts, colorful sprinkles, or mini marshmallows)

Instructions

  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  • Microwave the mixture on high in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until mostly melted and smooth (about 1 to 1½ minutes).
  • Carefully remove the bowl and continue stirring until completely melted and silky smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing well.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle optional toppings over the fudge and gently press them in.
  • Let the fudge cool at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
  • Once firm, lift out of the pan and cut into squares.
  • Enjoy your homemade fudge!

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate chips and avoid overheating the mixture.
