Instructions

  1. In a pot, add water, salt and place it on medium heat.
  2. Once it starts to boil, add pasta and let it cook.
  3. When the pasta is al dente, drain it, and set it aside for later use.
  4. Place a large pot of skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add cooking oil.
  6. Once the oil is hot, add ground beef and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until it starts to turn brown. Continue to mix the ground beef using a wooden spoon to break it down.
  7. Add chopped onions and stir well.
  8. Next, add minced garlic and cook for a minute or two.
  9. Add Worcestershire sauce, taco seasonings, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  10. Pour in water and mix well.
  11. Let it simmer on medium heat until the water is evaporated.
  12. Once the natural juices are released, and water is evaporated, add cooked pasta and mix well.
  13. Add canned salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, and stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
  14. Garnish the pasta with sour cream, shredded cheese, and freshly chopped parsley.
  15. Serve alongside tortilla chips and more sour cream.
  16. Enjoy!
