- In a pot, add water, salt and place it on medium heat.
- Once it starts to boil, add pasta and let it cook.
- When the pasta is al dente, drain it, and set it aside for later use.
- Place a large pot of skillet over medium heat.
- Add cooking oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add ground beef and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until it starts to turn brown. Continue to mix the ground beef using a wooden spoon to break it down.
- Add chopped onions and stir well.
- Next, add minced garlic and cook for a minute or two.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, taco seasonings, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in water and mix well.
- Let it simmer on medium heat until the water is evaporated.
- Once the natural juices are released, and water is evaporated, add cooked pasta and mix well.
- Add canned salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, and stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Garnish the pasta with sour cream, shredded cheese, and freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve alongside tortilla chips and more sour cream.
