Ingredients:
- 1 large cabbage, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 12 oz bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup distilled vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and slice the onion into rings.
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a Dutch oven, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until it’s crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the grease in the pot.
